As a cooperative of private landowners and conservation-minded investors, BCCB has initially focused on the corridor between the 2,900-acre TNC Love Creek Preserve and the 2,900-acre Lost Maples State Natural Area. More than 5,000 acres of privately owned land are currently enrolled in BCCB, spanning over 13 miles from end to end. With a long-term goal of enrolling 10,000 acres of suitable habitat, BCCB welcomes inquiries from Bandera and Real County landowners interested in participating in our landowner-friendly conservation program.
